Please let me know if you are planning to go to the convention.  I will help you register if you do not have a credit card or computer access.  If you want financial help to go to the convention, talk to me.  It is expected that you have shown interest in Federation activities in the past year.  I know it is difficult to do all of the things we used to do, but we have had good participation in Annapolis and the Washington seminar.

I believe I have sent all of you your raffle numbers.  You may pay by Paypal or by check to NFB of Maryland, sent to 1800 Johnson Street, Suite N1, Baltimore, MD 21230.

Mark your calendars for Saturday,  April 30.  We will have a seminar to learn how to advocate—for ourselves or someone else.  When we or someone we know is mistreated, we will learn how to decide if the National Federation of the Blind can help us, as well as what we can do ourselves. We plan to have our next in-person meeting on Saturday, May 14 at the Whiteoak Library.

Our next in-person public event will be on Saturday, May 21, at the Gaithersburg Book Festival at the Bohrer Park Recreation Center.  It is outside.  We will have our own tent where we will have braille activities.
