[MD-Sligo] Sligo Creek Chapter schedule reminders, including the meeting date and time for the next Sligo Creek Audio Book Club Meeting

Dear Chapter Members,
We have a busy and exciting next few weeks in the NFB and
in the Sligo Creek Chapter. Here are some helpful reminders of events and dates:
The NFB National Convention takes place July 1-6. Go here to register for

The second meeting of the Sligo Creek Audio Book Club will occur via a
virtual session with phone option on Saturday, July 8 at 1:30pm. The details
on the book that we will be discussing, "Murder in the White House", are
included below at the end of this message. There is still plenty of time for you to start and read the book if you wish to join us! Please RSVP to Jeff Baer(Cell phone: 410-499-0143 or jabaer811 at outlook.com) if you have not already done
so and you plan to attend the book club. Jeff will send you the book club
meeting link and phone call information in early July.

Important Reminder: Our next monthly Sligo Creek Chapter Meeting will be a virtual meeting on
Zoom and will occur on Saturday, July 15 at 1:30pm.

Details on the current book for the Sligo Creek Audio Book Club:
"Murder in the White House: a novel", by author Margaret Truman (note - she
was the daughter of former US President Harry Truman). The audiobook is
available for free on the BARD mobile app or via the BARD or NLS website.

chapter members desiring advice on accessing free audiobooks or other
reading materials should contact one of our chapter's officers or Jeff Baer.
