Dear friend,

 

Please join Council President Glass for a proclamation recognizing White
Cane Awareness Day on Tuesday, October 24 at 9:00 am in the Council Office
Building in Rockville. The White Cane is an important symbol that represents
the independence of people who are blind or visually impaired and presenting
this proclamation will increase awareness.

 

Please plan to arrive by 8:45 a.m. Come to the 3rd floor and head into the
council chambers. You will find the address to the Council Office Building
along with parking instructions below.

 

Please email  <mailto:%20hope.klein at montgomerycountymd.gov> me confirming
your attendance by noon on Friday, Oct 20. Feel free to share this
invitation with your families and friends.

 

We look forward to commemorating White Cane Awareness Day with you. Please

There are two public entrances to the Council Office Building located at 100
Maryland Avenue, Rockville, MD 20850:

 

*	 On E. Jefferson St. - located on the first floor (in the rear of
the building near the loading zone and auditorium).
*	On Maryland Ave. - located on the second floor (under the covered
canopy near the cafeteria).

 

 Here are parking instructions: 

 

*	From Maryland Ave, turn right onto E. Jefferson St. (Route 28 East).
Entrance to public parking is on the right.
