Chase Bank Launches Aira Access Pilot


Aira is thrilled to announce that Chase Bank is launching an Aira Access pilot beginning June 3rd, 2024. The pilot will see Aira offered for free to anyone visiting one of 44 Chase Bank Innovation Lab locations, listed in the table below. 

Visitors to any of these Chase Bank locations can download the Aira app and open it on their phone. They will be able to connect at the tap of a button with a professional visual interpreter who can stream a live feed via the caller’s camera. The visual interpreter can then assist by describing, reading aloud, navigating, and answering questions. Aira’s visual interpreters are highly trained and sign an NDA, ensuring confidentiality and security for callers. 

Aira can assist Chase Bank visitors with a vast range of tasks they may need to accomplish in the course of their banking, including: 

*	Locating the bank’s entrance and exit 
*	Navigating to the line to speak with a teller 
*	Providing information on how many people are in line and how fast it is moving 
*	Assisting with withdrawing or depositing funds at an ATM 
*	Reading printed banking materials 
*	Orientation upon leaving the bank and heading to public transit 

Chase Bank visitors will also be able to leverage AccessAI to support their banking activities. AccessAI is an AI image chat feature within the Aira app. Users can either take a photo or upload an image from their phone’s camera roll. Within seconds, AccessAI will provide a detailed image description. For example, a bank customer could take a photo of the receipt issued by an ATM showing their bank balance and transaction details. AccessAI will instantly generate the text on the receipt, and the Aira user can listen to the text. Callers can also verify the AccessAI responses with a visual interpreter for added confidence. 

This Aira Access pilot will run until December 3rd, 2024. There is no limit to the number of calls someone can make to Aira from these Chase Bank locations. This Aira Access offer does not cover online banking services.
