Welcome to the "Back to School season" edition, where we will return to our childhood together. Maybe you are still there, maybe you left it behind long ago, but why are we bringing up this topic?
Because we want to introduce our BlindShell team to you in a slightly unconventional way.

** News, Updates, Apps

** Last month, we rolled out another set of system updates. We have prepared a summary of the latest changes and improvements that have been added to BlindShell.

Notifications from all third-party apps are now allowed, so you won't miss anything important.
The display of contact names in messages has been fixed. The pronunciation of certain characters has been changed on the British keyboard for more accurate response.

The Classic 3 update includes the same changes mentioned above, plus improved stability and text sharing in the Luna app. Wi-Fi calling is now also available. If your mobile operator supports this feature, you will find this option in Settings / Network / Mobile networks / Advanced call settings.

New features have been added to the quick menu: screen capture and screen recording. For more information, see the Tips/Tricks section.

** In August, we updated the following for you:

Book Reader - Improved support for Daisy books. Removed clicking sound during automatic transition between chapters during playback.
YouTube - Removed the "Categories" section due to discontinuation of support by YouTube.
BlindShell Tandem - Using the Luna application, it is now possible to call contacts from the Tandem application or send them messages.

📸 BlindShell Classic 3 now allows you to easily take a screenshot or record a video from your display (up to 1 hour long). You can then play the videos in a player or share them; you just need to send the image and sound files separately.

Wi-Fi calling
A new feature in the Classic 3. If the feature is enabled, the phone will still primarily use the mobile network and, in the event of poor or no signal, will automatically use the WiFi connection if available. Ideal when you're at home, at the cottage, or in a place with poor mobile reception. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection and you can call as easily as usual. (If your operator does not support this feature, you will not see the option in the menu.)

🔊 How do I set the ringtone volume?
We are often asked how to set the ringtone volume to a certain level or that the ringtone is too quiet or too loud.
Go to Settings > Sounds > Volume. There you can set not only the ringtone, but also the alarm and feedback volume.
