[MD-Sligo] Reminder and Details of Upcoming Sligo Creek Chapter Blind Equality Achievement Month Outreach event

As discussed during our most-recent in-person chapter meeting, we hope to see you at our Blind Equality Achievement Month Outreach event!  It will be a discussion about Helen Keller.  based around her book The Story of My Life", BARD DB# 55883 and the Braille version is BR# 14704. That event will be on Saturday, October 18, at 2:00 pm at the Rockville Library, 21 Maryland Avenue, in Rockville, MD 20850 . Please feel free to attend even if you have not completely read the book. We envision we will have a general conversation about the life of Helen Keller and the education system as it pertains to blind and deaf-blind students.
