Good afternoon Debbie, I am the co-facilitator of the Leisure World Lions Vision Support Group(LVSG). I had the idea of a “Technology Showcase” to give people the opportunity to try out a wide variety of assistive technology in person.  I have five vendors, listed below, who will be at this free event.  I hope that you will share this invitation with the Sligo Creek Chapter as well as the chapter in Prince Georges County.  MetroAccess severs this location.

 

The Showcase is taking place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Clubhouse 1 in Leisure World.  The address is 3700 Rossmoor Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906.  We will be in the Maryland Room.  The event is scheduled from 1:00-3:00PM,  Leisure World is a gated community, everyone must stop at the gatehouse and tell that you are there for the Lions Vision Support Group (LVSG) meeting.  If you enter from Georgia Ave, Clubhouse 1 is directly in front of you.  There is not a fee to participate in this event.
