Subject: Rockville Housing Needs Assessment Survey and Open House

 

Good morning,

 

The City of Rockville is conducting a Housing Needs Assessment to better
understand Rockville residents' experiences finding housing that suits their
needs. The assessment is meant to identify housing gaps with a focus on the
experience of older adults, renters, people with disabilities, families, and
residents with limited or moderate incomes. The City is examining
affordability, availability, and housing preferences to help inform future
housing policy, programs, and planning decisions. As part of this process,
we are seeking community input.

 

We are wondering whether you'd be willing to help us spread the word by
distributing our  <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CVQ6N7F> survey to your
Rockville community (including any newsletters, email lists, community
bulletins, etc.) The survey will remain open through February 28th. I am
attaching a flyer with a QR code and providing a link
<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CVQ6N7F> here. The flyer and survey are
available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. We will also be out in the
community at various events throughout February to distribute the survey
in-person.

 

In addition, there is an upcoming community workshop, which all residents
are encouraged to attend. Please circulate the information below if you are
able.

Community input is essential for shaping the solutions that will make
housing more accessible and affordable for Rockville residents, and we
