[MD-Sligo] Chapter meeting on Saturday

We will be meeting on Zoom this Saturday.  I will send the Zoom link later.

 

We will be planning future activities, including a BELL program in our area
for the first time in seven years.  BELL stands for Braille Enrichment for
Literacy and Learning, and it is a 2-week program where we help children
improve their braille skills and learn about how to live as a blind person.
We work as volunteers and mentors.  

 

The board has decided to sell candy this spring.  We will sell Sees milk
chocolate bars, dark chocolate bars, and peanut brittle bars.  The milk
chocolate and dark chocolate bars come in boxes of 24 bars.  We will sell
them for $3 for one bar or $5 for two.  You may take a box of each kind on
consignment.  If you do this, please pay at the April meeting.  The peanut
brittle bars come in boxes of 8, and we will sell each bar for $4 and the
box for $32.  If you let me know what kind of candy you want at the meeting
on Saturday, I will arrange to deliver them in the next few weeks.

 

We have 7 raffle tickets left.  The tickets cost $5.  If you win on a
weekday or Sunday in May, you get $50; if you win on a Saturday, you get
$100.
