RESEARCH STUDY ANNOUNCMENT

The Mid-Atlantic ADA Center, in collaboration with New Mexico State University, is conducting a research study to explore the experiences of Black individual with disabilities. Participating in this study will help us better understand the challenges and benefits associated with self-advocacy among Black individuals with disabilities. 

We invite you to participate in this important research study. 

To be eligible, you must: 

1.    Self-identify as Black

2.  Have a documented disability (e.g., motor, sensory, hearing, vision)

3.  Be 18 years of age or older

4.  Be English-speaking

5.  Live in the Mid-Atlantic region within the United States

In this form, you will be asked to provide your email for communication purposes. Once eligibility is confirmed, a member of the research team will contact you to schedule a pre-orientation meeting and orientation session. session. 

This study includes three phases. Participants will receive $10 compensation at the completion of each phase. Compensation will be distributed electronically via email.
