Subject: REMINDER-TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE MAY 13

 

REMINDER THE LIONS VISION SUPPORT GROUP is sponsoring a  "Technology
Showcase" to give people the opportunity to try out a wide variety of
assistive technology in person.  The technology is geared to individuals
experiencing any level of vision loss or difficulty reading standard print.
In addition to magnification solutions there will be text to speech readers
that will assist individuals you are blind or have other barriers to
reading. Be sure to bring the reading material that you want to use to
evaluate the various equipment. Encourage friends, family and neighbors who
are struggling to read standard print to try a wide variety of technology
solutions. 

 

The Showcase is on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Clubhouse 1 in the Maryland
Room from 1:00-3:00 PM,  Note change in time and location for this special
event.  Representatives from the following vendors are expected to attend:
Eschenbach, Ability2Access, Atlantic Low Vision, ITG, and VOMA Technologies
and Training.
