The bad news is that we still have convention expenses, and probably something else I’m not remembering. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>While we are talking about money, I would like to mention to everyone that it is always appropriate for anyone to contribute to the NFB of Maryland directly. Most of us do that only at convention time. I bring this up because the expenses for BELL are monumental. We spend several thousand dollars getting children and adults to BELL. Much of that money comes from the NFB of Maryland. In addition, we also pay the teacher, although her expenses are actually much less than transportation costs.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>BELL is a fantastic opportunity to meet young blind people and their parents, and it is worth every penny we put into it.
