Friday we will be having a workshop on Unified Englih Braille, and if you would
rather exercise something besides your mind, you can learn salsa or
zoomba. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>On Friday night at the convention there will be a
trivia contest. We will be looking for members to be on a team
representing Sligo Creek. We need 5 people with a variety of
interests. If we are really ambitious, we might have two
teams.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>We would like to help people to go to the
convention. We will need nut orders before the meeting so that you can get
your nuts. Please call the Rasmussens by Friday evening with yyour
orders. Some of the nuts are only at my house, and I will be leaving for
the BANA open forum early Saturday morning. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>If you have raffle ticket stubs and money, please
bring them tot he meeting. If you are going to the convention, you may
bring them with you. </FONT></DIV>

people to the scholarship dinner. We should have a little over $4000 once
all the money is in. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Thanks to all of those who came to Uno's, and
thanks especially to Janice for bringing her family. I do not have the
money yet from that. It will not be a large amount, but it was fun, and
the food was good. Also, Janice wrote a nice article.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>We will be buying a one-handed brailler for Aisha
Watapur, who was a BELL student and who is now in our Braille Rocks club.
The cost is $795. We have commitmnets for about $400. If anyone else
would like to contribute, you may give some to the chapter, but it must be
designated for this project.</FONT></DIV>
