To celebrate, we are going to educate the public about braille and blindness at the Rockville Library. We will have children read and adults talk about braille. We will present Aisha with her unimanual brailler on that day. We hope to have public figures and to get a braille literacy proclamation. We will have tables demonstrating different equipment and techniques, such as braillers, slates, braille notetakers, braille games, and reading materials. We will need people to work at the tables and people to greet the public and show people what is happening. Plese let me know ifyou will be able to come, and if you have any other ideas about things to demonstrate.

Debbie
