This DC area audio collective wants to listen together with you and hear from you about what audio adventures you'd want to explore and how best to make the group and its events more inclusive, accessible and engaging. DCLL's "Listening Lounges" take place monthly in living rooms around the District. They are opportunities to listen together and explore concepts in audio art, storytelling and music. Once a year the DC Listening Lounge curates a free public event to celebrate local creativity in sound. It's an interactive audio art installation called "Sound Scene" and it showcases local (and also national and international) audio artists. It features interactive games, stories, panel discussions, workshops and live music. The entrance to Library Express is not at the main entrance of the building on K street, but is at a side entrance on 20th St. between I and K and has a sign for the Goethe Institute. Library Express is on the lower level of the building next to the Goethe Institute. When you come in the entrance from 20th street there is a staircase that goes down one level. There is also a one-story, elevator/wheel-chair-lift that goes from the entrance floor to the lower level. At the bottom of the stairs or elevator, go through the double doors and the second door to your left is Library Express.
