<p><strong><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman',serif">INFORMATION ON THE PUBLIC TEST OF VOTING EQUIPMENT AND CANVASS SCHEDULE FOR OPENING BALLOTS </span></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman',serif">The Montgomery County Board of Elections will explain the preparation and testing of the High-Speed Scanners used in the Canvass at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020 and the voting system used for the Presidential General Election at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020. As the event nears, links to the livestream Public Testing will be posted on the Board of Elections website </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman',serif">Vote by Mail ballots will be opened beginning on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. The canvass process will continue intermittently as needed until all ballots are opened and scanned for counting. The process will continue after partial results are released on Election Day, with each session’s results added to the previous session’s total, until all ballots are counted. <span style="color:black">Provisional ballots cast during the Presidential General Election will be reviewed when the Board of Canvassers convenes on November 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman',serif">The Board will meet regularly throughout the process to consider challenges and make decisions about counting ballots. A tentative canvass schedule for each session will be posted on the Board of Elections website at <a href="http://www.777vote.org" target="_blank">www.777vote.org</a>.</span></p>
