Online registration is $25 and closes May 31. Registration will be available at convention but the cost will increase. By registering you will also get access to the latest information as it is made available including the agenda, the app, and more.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 20pt; color:black;">Book Your Hotel</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color:black;">The Marriott New Orleans and the Sheraton New Orleans will serve as our headquarter hotels.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color:black;">Both hotels are offering a nightly rate of $119 for singles and doubles, and $129 for triples and quads. Occupancy taxes and the tourism support rate are an additional 16.2 percent and note there is a hotel occupancy fee of $3 per night.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color:black;">Ambassadors assist in creating a welcoming and empowering experience for all attendees by sharing information, providing directions, and serving as a positive influence on the convention. <a href="https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=38492&qid=11223602" rel="nofollow" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">Sign up to be an ambassador</a>.</span></p>
<h3 style="color:1b5633"><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt; "><font color="1b5633">Support Service Provider</font></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color:black;">To enhance national convention for DeafBlind attendees, we are seeking Support Service Providers (SSP) to volunteer their time. SSPs facilitate communication between DeafBlind attendees and others and provide access to environmental information. <a href="https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=38493&qid=11223602" rel="nofollow" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">Learn how to become a SSP volunteer</a>.</span></p>
<h3 style="color:1b5633"><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt; "><font color="1b5633">Spanish Interpretation</font></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color:black;">Spanish interpreters play a key role in making national convention accessible by providing written or verbal Spanish translation of convention general sessions, division meetings, and other events. <a href="https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=38494&qid=11223602" rel="nofollow" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">Volunteer to offer Spanish interpretation</a>.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color:black;">We are excited to offer opportunities for engagement and connection to participants who are unable to attend the convention in person. <p><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color:black;">We offer childcare for children between the ages of six weeks and twelve years. Childcare is available during convention sessions, most meetings, and the banquet.</span></p>

Our constitution states that only members of the Federation have the right to participate in decision-making when it comes to organizational policy.
