Hello MDABS members and friends,

I would like to announce that the Maryland Association of Blind Students has
now created a HeyTell relay for our members and friends to keep in touch
with each other. This relay will also serve as yet another way for us to
disceminate news and information in realtime.

For those of you who are not familiar with HeyTell, it is an app for iOS and
Android devices which allows you to send and receive short voice messages,
similar to a Walkie Talkie. HeyTell's group feature allows for the creation
of groups of up to 25 members and for the sending and receiving of group
messages. If a group is set up as a "public relay," as is our group, all
messages you send to the group will go to all members, just as all emails
sent to a listserv go to all its members. HeyTell is available for free in
both the iOS and Android app stores. The app is also fully accessible and is
widely used by blind people. If you would like to join our HeyTell group,
please contact me using any of the contact information below and I will add
you to the group. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me
know. See you on HeyTell!

Thanks,
