Hello everyone,

Here is a note from Natalie Shaheen regarding an exciting opportunity for
students in third through sixth grade! Please spread the word, and apply if
you have a student in your life in that age group!

Thanks,

Melissa

Attention blind and low vision 3rd-6th grade students and their parents:

Have you heard that this coming school year the National Federation of the
Blind is facilitating exciting science, technology, engineering, and math
(STEM) programs across the country! In addition to acquiring new and
exciting STEM knowledge, you will also get to meet blind and low vision
students from across the country at NFB STEM2U!

Each student will attend NFB STEM2U with a parent or chaperone. While the
students are off learning about STEM, parents will attend workshops
specifically designed to provide them with the information that they need to
help their children be successful in school and the community.

**The application deadline for elementary school students is July 31,
2014.** Don't miss your opportunity to capitalize on this great experience!
