Please join me in congratulating Brianna Broadwater, a 2020 NFB National Scholarship finalist from Maryland.  Bri is new to the Federation, having only met us when I interviewed her for the 2020 scholarship program.  However, since then, she has jumped right in, including participating in several of our weekly COVID-19 calls and joining the Maryland NFB Career Mentoring Program.  Bri is a high school senior in Harford County.  She is working on making a final decision as to which of five excellent colleges she will attend in the fall.

Congratulations, Bri, and welcome to the Federation family.

National Federation of the Blind Announces 2020 Scholarship Program Finalists

Baltimore, Maryland (May 6, 2020): The National Federation of the Blind (NFB), the nation’s leading advocate for equal education of the blind, today announced the finalists for its annual scholarship program, which provides financial assistance and connects students with mentoring and other resources. The thirty scholarship finalists are listed below in alphabetical order with their home states and vocational goals.
