2023 Outreach Summer Programs The deadline for MSB's 2023 Outreach Summer
Programs enrollment has been *extended to June 10! *We have so much great
stuff going on this year, so make sure you tell your students and their
families all about it!

   - *TRECCK West* is an Expanded Core Curriculum adventure in western
   Maryland. FREE day program. Runs July 5-7. For ages 6-15.
   - *CAMP ABILITIES* brings Adapted Sports to the MSB campus. $200
   overnight camp. Runs July 10-14. For ages 9-17.
   - *TRECCK MSB* is an Expanded Core Curriculum adventure on the MSB
   campus. FREE day program. Runs July 17-21. For ages 6-15.
   - *CAMP MERRICK*. Embark on an overnight camping adventure of a lifetime
   in Nanjemoy! $600 overnight camp. Runs July 23-27. For ages 9-17.
   - *MISLE @ MSB* is a Work Experience and Independent Living Experience
   on the MSB campus and in the surrounding community. FREE overnight program.
   For ages 16-21. Students under the age of 18 will be required to obtain a
   work permit. Participants must commit to ALL of the attendance requirements
   to be eligible for a paycheck.
      - June 14, 9am-3pm: Applications and interviews
      - July 12, 9am-3pm: Employee orientation and banking establishment
      - July 17-28, overnight on campus with off-site work experiences
      Monday-Friday

*All paperwork is due by June 15st and payments by June 30th*.

ALL program registrations must include the following completed forms:

   - Registration Google Form
   - MSB's Permission for Transportation and Photos
   - Emergency 911 Transportation Consent Form
   - Over the Counter Meds Permission Form

Camp Abilities and Camp Merrick require the following additional paperwork
to ensure your child can participate safely:

   - 2023-2024 Maryland State Medication Authorization Form
   - 2023-2024 Part I Health Assessment Form
   - 2023-2024 Part II Health Assessment Form

All forms will be emailed to you once you've registered. Please email all
completed forms to latanyar at mdschblind.org. Checks should be made payable
to MSB and mailed to us at 3501 Taylor Ave, Baltimore MD, 21236. Please
designate payment, if needed, to Camp Abilities or Camp Merrick in the MEMO
line.
  Two collaborative agency programs are also taking place this summer! The
National Federation for the Blind of Maryland is collaborating with the MSB
Outreach Department to host an NFB BELL Academy in St. Mary's County

from July 17 to 21 from 9 am to 3 pm. Contact

The National Science Foundation will host the 2023 Career Exploration Lab:
3D Printing and STEM Engagement

overnight on MSB's campus from July 31 to August 4. Learn about astronomy
from STEM professionals with blindness/visual impairments and go on free
field trips to local museums and STEM businesses. Contact Corita Stull at
