Subject: Notification of the Birth of a Member: Wilt
Friends,
I'm delighted to share that Emily and Shawn Wilt welcomed their first child,
Lucian, on September 30, 2025. Lucian weighed in at 8 pounds 1 ounce and
was 18.5 inches long when he was born. Emily and Shawn are both active
members of the NFB of Maryland Western Maryland Chapter. Mom, Dad, Gramma
Cindy Holden, who is the Western Maryland Chapter President, and Baby Lucian
are all doing well. Lucian attended his first chapter meeting in October,
just a few days after being born, and he joined the chapter in November.
The reason this is coming to you so late is my fault, but at least he hasn't
started walking yet before I got it in.
Thanks,
Ronza

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back
