Access On Webinar - Panel Discussion on Vibe Coding:

For decades, blind people have waited. We have waited for developers to fix
an inaccessible interface, for vendors to prioritize a bug report, and for
someone, somewhere, to decide our problem was worth solving. Vibe coding
changes that equation.

Vibe coding, sometimes called AI-assisted coding, lets you describe what you
want in plain language and work with an AI model to build it. You do not
need a computer science degree. You do need a clear idea of the problem you
want to solve, and blind people understand our own problems better than
anyone. People are already using these tools to build custom scripts, access
technology add-ons, web apps, and workflow tools that fit the way they
actually work.

On Tuesday, October 27, 2:00-3:30 p.m., Eastern, our panelists will tell you
what works and what does not. Expect candid stories from people building
real projects, practical advice on getting started with a screen reader, and
an open look at the risks, including code quality, security, and the
accessibility of the tools themselves.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
