Hello all,
Please contact Jody Schwartz in Senator Cardins office and ask her to request that Senator Cardin sign a dear colleague letter from Senator Murray. This letter will be sent to the Secretary of the U.S Department of Education urging him to issue a new rule concerning Braille instruction for students in grades K-12. Attached is a copy of the letter. The person for Cardin to contact in Senator Murrays office is Jake Cornett.
The email address is: jodischwartz at cardin.senate.gov. The phone number for Senator Cardin is (202) 224-4524.
Please send the email or make the call on Monday or Tuesday. Senator Cardin must be on this important letter. He needs to hear from each of us.
Thanks,
Sharon Maneki
