Is there still a team which plays periodically at the NFB Jernigan
Institute? I know there used to be, but I'm not sure whether one still
exists.

Subject: [Mdpobc] new youth sport opportunity

A new coed Youth Goalball Team is developing in Northern DE, and MD youth,
ages 10 - 14, are invited to participate. Goalball (see YouTube) is a very
popular and easy to learn team sport for blind and visually impaired youth
and adults. A new Mid-Atlantic Youth Goalball League is developing to
include NJ, PA, DE, and hopefully MD & NY City in the future. A new
Philadelphia area team started twice a month practices in Dec., and they
have offered to host some fun games.

For more info or to sign up for this low cost program ($5 dues + $25 for
insurance) please e-mail info at blindsports.org or call 302-836-5784.
