Hello,

I wanted to make sure all of you have this information. Very fun
opportunities for blind students coming in the near future.

Calling all blind students, parents of blind children, and teachers working
with blind students!

 

 

 

During the 2014-2015 school year, the National Federation of the Blind
<http://www.nfb.org>  will facilitate three science, technology,
engineering, and math (STEM) programs across the country as a part of its
National Center for Blind Youth in Science
<http://www.blindscience.org/ncbys-nsfgrant> ! NFB STEM2U
<http://www.blindscience.org/nfb-stem2u>  will provide exciting accessible
STEM learning opportunities for blind students in grades 3-6 and grades
9-12. Parents and teachers will also have the opportunity to join in the fun
and learning!

 

 

 

Program Dates:

 

.       NFB STEM2U Baltimore (MD); November 6-8, 2014    

 

.       NFB STEM2U Boston (MA); March 12-15, 2015          

 

.       NFB STEM2U Columbus (OH); May 14-16, 2015

 

.       NFB STEM2U Leadership Academy; September 5-7, 2014 (a special event
for high-school-aged participants)

 

 

 

Blind and low vision students (and their parents and teachers) who are
looking for more opportunities to learn about STEM and to have fun with
their peers from across the country should apply to attend NFB STEM2U.
