[Mdpobc] Holiday Party Cancelled

Hello everyone,

I am very sorry to report that the holiday party and feast at the NFB have
both been cancelled. We are worried that snow, sleet, and freezing rain
might make traveling difficult-especially for those who have to travel a
distance to get to the events. We are hoping to hold a winter party on
Saturday, January 21 instead, and the lunch will also be held that day. I am
sorry to cancel this event. The weather might be just fine. In fact, if it
was just snow, I probably would not have been worried. But freezing rain can
be dangerous to drive in, so that is what most worried me.

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season, and I hope to see you in
January.
