[Mdpobc] Holiday Party Reminder

I am resending the below message since I have not gotten any RSVP emails
yet. I really hope many of you are able to join us for this event!

Hello everyone,

The Maryland Parents of Blind Children would love to see all of you at our
holiday party!

When: Saturday, December 16, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Where: National Federation of the Blind; 200 East Wells St.; Baltimore, MD
21230.

 

For the kids. Crafts, a snack, story time, and a visit from a very special
guest!

For the parents. A chance to meet other families with blind children and
other blind adults.

 

Children of all ages, both blind and sighted,  are invited to take part in
the fun. Tweens and teens are encouraged to help run activities for younger
children.

At noon, consider joining the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the National
Federation of the Blind for appetizers and desserts; bringing a dessert to
share is encouraged.

 

Please RSVP to Melissa Riccobono with the following information: Number of
children and adults attending, ages of children, whether the children are
blind or sighted, and if you plan to stay for the appetizer and dessert
gathering.

Oh, we are planning a craft where we may use peanut butter, so please let us
know if anyone in your group has a peanut allergy. If there are allergy
concerns, we will find a substitute for the peanut butter!
