Bookshare in the Classroom

Learn about Bookshare, and how it can help blind and low vision students access reading content in the classroom, read and engage with their world and access all types of materials.

Allison Hilliker will be presenting on Bookshare. Allison Hilliker works as a Customer support Specialist for Benetech, the nonprofit that runs the Bookshare.org website. She is a graduate of Arizona State University and has over 20 years of experience in the assistive technology field. She currently lives in the Phoenix area and is the mother to 2 little girls, one of whom is low vision. Allison and her husband, Darrell, are the co-creators of the blindaccessjournal.com blog and podcast.
