[MDPOBC] come to MDOPBC wining wednesday to discuss returning to school

Come join the Maryland Organization Parents of Blind Children for our first
ever Wining Wednesday on February 17 starting at 7:30 PM. Parents will be
gathering to   discuss the potential challenges for blind students as they
return to school. We will also be collecting stories of the challenge's
parents have faced throughout virtual learning. These stories will be sent
to the members of the general assembly so they can learn about the struggles
that families have faced this year. 

 

This year the NFB of Maryland is working hard to get the General Assembly to
pass our Accountability for K-12 education Act. If enacted, this law would
create consequences for venders who sell inaccessible instructional
materials to school districts.
