Tomorrow is your last day to order your very own special edition "Maryland Bee-lieves in Braille" t-shirt!

Wear your favorite Braille T-shirt or anything you have Braille related for a statewide Braille Spirit Day to celebrate all things Braille on June 1st! This Braille Spirit day is in conjunction with the announcement of the 2021 Braille Challenge National Qualifiers! If you don't have something to wear, be creative, write a song, make a picture! It's up to you how you show your spirit on June 1st!  Encourage students and their families, TVIs, support staff and related services to participate! We need everyone to rally around our Brailletastic readers!

A  special limited edition t-shirt is available for purchase <https://maryland.us17.list-manage.com/track/click?u=da8f913f82891276e85e5bd03&id=c94809b0a1&e=f570d81d7e> and will be mailed to your home in time for the big day if you are interested. The t-shirt has the words "Maryland Bee-lieves in Braille'' in both print and Braille. A black eyed-susan and bee are on either side of the text. There is also the Maryland School for the Blind logo located at the very bottom of the design. Deadline to order is May 12th. How can you let MSB's Outreach Department know you've got spirit?

  *   Post photos on Facebook and tag Maryland School for the Blind on June 1st. Use the hashtag #MdBraille when you post!

  *   E-mail photos to Jackie Otwell at jacquelineo at mdschblind.org<mailto:jacquelineo at mdschblind.org> on June 1st. Please include a statement that includes that you give permission for these photos to be utilized on social media, websites and other platforms.

  *   Share it with your TVI and they can tell us all about it in your family's preferred method.

Everyone who shares their spirit will be entered in a raffle to win one of many prizes!
