Do you have a passion for rhythm? Join us for an online rhythm and drum circle where you can learn rhythms and songs of the African diaspora, then use what you learned to create your own beats! Bring a drum, a pot, a box, a bucket, or get creative. Find your own “drum” and join us for some fun. Everyone is welcome!

For Blind and Low Vision youth, their families, teachers and providers

Location: Holiday Inn Baltimore - Inner Harbor in the Hopkins Room on the Lower Level of the Conference Center

You are cordially invited to participate at the first Maryland Transition Youth Services Fair that focuses on Blind and Low vision students. This free Transition fair will focus on transition services for blind and low vision students in Maryland and will take place in conjunction with the fifty-fifth annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland. Feel free to encourage your transition families and students to attend.

This will be an opportunity for you to:

  *   Interact with transition age blind and low vision youth, their parents and families
  *   Present on your transition programs
  *   Engage with TVI’s across the state
  *   Hear professional presentations from state education and transition leaders in the field of blindness
  *   Network with other providers from around the state
  *   Have a booth to share your resources, services and information (free)
