[MDPOBC] Children's Author to Speak at LBPD

Hello All,

I am writing to invite you to attend the Friends annual meeting on
Saturday, October 26, beginning at 930 AM. The meeting takes place in
person at the library or on zoom. One of the speakers will be a children's
author, Cindy Freland, who wrote a series of books about the Chesapeake
Bay. She uses the words of animals to tell the stories. You can read the
books by searching BARD. The first one in the series is Chester the
Chipmunk : DBC 12543 . The last book in the series is Dylan the Deer :
DBC12640. This should help you find the other 6 books as well. There will
be time for questions from the audience. So your child can ask Cindy
Freland, the author, a question or two.

You must register to get the zoom link or if you're coming in person and
will be staying for lunch. Register by writing an email to
reference.desk at maryland.gov by close of business  Monday, October 21st.
