actual device from a friend, I realized it is not designed for a low
vision child. </DIV>
<DIV>My son's acuity is about the same as your daughter's, and there's
no way he could use the kindle.</DIV>
<DIV>Matthew does use zoom text and a victor stream reader. He
also has a laptop and acrobat reader. I recommend you go through
the school system and have them provide it for your daughter.</DIV>

controls are not accessible for many blind people.
Perhaps she could operate it by using
her vision. Most of us can not do this. Really test

loud. I am worried that there might be a glare factor
though with this. I am wondering if others have used this
