(One of the first, in fact, having been in business for more than 10 years.)

I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds by sending this out here, but wanted everyone in the
blindness community to know my braille alphabet bracelet ("braille fashion cheat-sheet") has been nominated for the Cooper-Hewitt Museum People's Design Award. The Cooper-Hewitt is in NYC and is part of the Smithsonian system.

I would appreciate the votes of any and all who value the design of that bracelet as a unique way of promoting the importance of braille literacy. It looks like I have a good shot here (there are only two other designs that have garnered more Facebook, Sharethis and e-mail traffic) though of course, no one knows how many votes any of the nominated designs has garnered!

If you'd like to look at all of the designs there, and hopefully, vote for the braille alphabet bracelet, their link is:
http://peoplesdesignaward.cooperhewitt.org/2010/nominee/2347

I'd really appreciate your support and your votes!

-- Sincere best,

Leslie Ligon
At First Sight Braille
