I agree with your assessment of the Rockville center. My daughter Aly is an 8th grader in the MCPS system, and the vision program treats the students to climbing there every few years. A great place to support because they support our kids!!

Happy new year to all!!

Stefanie Levy
Sent from my iPhone

On Jan 3, 2014, at 4:36 PM, "Kyle Richmond" <Kyle.Richmond2009@comcast.net> wrote:

Just want to let everyone know about the Earth Trek
Climbing Centers. There is one in Rockville, Timonium and Columbia. Took my
adult blind son there last week and it was a great experience. The people that
work there were more than happy to shout out verbal directions as he climbed up
the walls and were very accommodating. If you are blind and/or have blind kids
and you are looking for something to do different and physical and indoors this
winter, check out Earth Trek climbing centers. http://www.earthtreksclimbing.com/md/rockville/ (It's fake rock
climbing or wall climbing or whatever it is called.) They have easy, medium,
somewhat challenging and very difficult sections of their walls, lots of help
and even the youngest child can participate, blind or sighted. Great for the
whole family and you get exercise!
