I will be placing the order today with FastSigns to print our 24 interpretive signs. This week will be very busy getting ready our sensory trail up and running for our April 5th Sensory Trail Preview Event. Our parks crews will be placing the 24 (touch box posts & plaque posts; and then attaching the composite board for our sensory trail signs. Later this week Buck will be coming out to attach the guide rope; John will be attaching the answer clue covers; and Joe & Pat will come down to attach the Braille to our new sign boards. I like to thank all of you for your continued support with this project. Great job everyone!</span><br><span></span><br><span>Volunteers Needed: this Sat. March 29th (10-12pm) to help move mulch and add logs along the trail (please see the attached flyer). If you will be available to help with this event please email Susan at: <a href="mailto:smatthews@frederickcountymd.gov">smatthews@frederickcountymd.gov</a>. </span><br><span></span><br><span>RSPV Sensory Trail Pre-View Event: Please send me a brief message confirming that you will be able to attend our Sensory Trail Preview Event on Sat. April 5th from (10-12pm) & the number of guests you will be bringing . If you will be bringing children with you please include their ages.
