[MI-ABS] Midwest seminar funding information

Hello all of our Michigan Students,
There is only one week left to sign up for the Midwest Student Seminar. This is an event that focuses on many topics such as education, accessibility barriers, employment, and more. 

The seminar is virtual so you can do it from your own couch or desk. The cost is $25 and the event will be from March 19-20. 

If you are someone that is in need of funding there is some hope for you. The Michigan Association of Blind Students will be funding a couple students to be able to go to the seminar.

All you have to do is write and email with your name and some information about why you would like to go to the seminar. 

Once you do this please send the email to

The board will then read it and decide if you are a good person for us to sponsor. 

Please submit all letters by Feb 27 at midnight eastern.
