[MI-ABS] Kalamazoo Chapter Event - Sep 17 6PM

Hello, chapter members and guests,

 

This is just a friendly reminder that we have a potluck/chapter meeting
scheduled for next Friday, Sept. 17 at 6 PM. We will be gathering at the
outdoor pavilion just across the street from the WMU Valley Dining Center on
the grounds of Western Michigan University.  For those who have not been
there before, it is a covered outdoor pavilion with power, and from the road
there is a concrete path over a little bridge and stream leading to the
outdoor spot. Unless there is severe weather, we should be able to meet,
rain or shine.

 

Please bring a main dish to pass. If you wish to bring a dessert instead,
please let me know so that we can coordinate having enough main dishes and
desserts.

 

If you want to participate but cannot attend or do not feel comfortable
attending in person, please let me know and we will try to accommodate you
attending virtually by Zoom. If no one lets me know that they need to attend
by Zoom, we will just be meeting in person and will not offer the Zoom
option.

 

We'll be discussing chapter business and the upcoming state convention at
this meeting. We are meeting at an earlier time so that we should be done
before dark. We'll also talk about moving our meetings to an indoor location
in October or whether we want to meet online instead given the current state
of COVID, but given that this upcoming meeting is outdoors, we will proceed
as planned to meet in person this time.

 

A reminder will be sent out on Thursday, the day before, but please do
