Greetings fellow students!

As Spring comes into full swing and the pollen plots to make its visit, the wildflowers of Federation programming is coming into bloom. Take some time to check out this letter our affiliate received from the Flint City Council following the visit our state Youth and Family Committee chairs and Flint chapter leaders made to walkthrough our upcoming NFBMI REAL program. A huge thanks to Dr. Ladel Lewis, Tara Morgan, Sheila Fulmore, Leo Naypier, Felecia Bradford, and our committee members at large for all of their incredible, cohesive work to pull this program together. For more information on getting involved in our state programs and events, please take some time to attend our committee meetings throughout the months that are advertised on this list. We'd love to have you.

With Gratitude,

Re: STEAM Conference
Greetings,
On behalf of the Honorable Sheldon Neeley, the Flint City Council, and the proud residents of the City of Flint, we want to thank you for giving us an opportunity.
to demonstrate why we will be the ideal host site for your STEAM conference. It was a pleasure meeting you and discussing your expectations for this inaugural.
event. The Flint & Genesee Convention and Visitors Bureau partnering with the newly erected Hilton Garden Inn (located in the heart of downtown), is ready.
and able to accommodate all of your conferencing needs.
During your recent visit you were able to receive a thorough tour of the potential host hotel, our newly remodeled Flint Public Library and our thriving.
Cultural Center District and ended with a visit to Kettering University. Kettering is one of the country's premier STEM institutions and is known around.
the world for educating great and successful leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, engineers, scientists, and businesspeople.
We hope that our Flint & Genesee Convention and Visitors Bureau addressed all concerns held by the organization. Moreover, we hope you enjoyed a few of
the cultural assets that our city possesses.
We look forward to assisting you with the preparation and execution of a successful STEAM conference for our blind and low vision scholars. We are working.
in tandem with local businesses to ensure that the National Federation of the Blind's needs are exceeded. Together We Can!
Your Partner in Success,
Dr. Ladel Lewis
