Hey Michigan Students, ,

The final Friday of the month is an important time for members of our affiliate that are interested in improving their work with the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP). Whether you are a customer of the agency, a vendor working with them or interested in the process of opening a case with them; you are cordially invited to join us for empowering conversations focused on solutions. Attendees of the NFBMI Soundboard tend to:

  * Share challenges they may face with the agency they may need guidance navigating.
  * Receive important updates about the agency.
  * Discuss tips of how to maximize their potential with the services offered.

NFBMI Soundboard is held at 8pm this evening on the affiliate Zoom line and is often hosted by at least one member of BSBP's Community Involvement Committee (CIC). The purpose of the CIC is to serve as an advisory committee to the administration of the agency, where it offers valuable information about the effectiveness of its services, staff, and programs. If you are solution-focused and interested in using your voice to ensure our state agency for the blind offers services that truly empower blind people, I encourage you to join us for a fruitful conversation. I look forward to connecting with you all.

Blessings,

Robert
