good afternoon all,
I hope this message finds you well.
the advocacy committee has reached out to Wane County Community College regarding how our division could assist them in improving the disability services provided to blind students. As of this email, I have not received a response. Being that this is a brand new project and given that this is a rather large project, I want to make sure that this is successful. since I have no updates for the committee at this time I'm going to go ahead and cancel this evening's advocacy committee. as soon as I receive any updates I will immediately reschedule the advocacy committee to provide the membership with those updates at that time. if I have not received a response within a reasonable amount of time from the college, I will schedule a meeting to determine next steps and how to proceed forward.
Thank you for being the best part of the National Federation of the Blind.

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
Sincerely,
Jeffery Crouch
President: Michigan Association of Blind Students
