Summer is heer, and I have some scorching and searing information regarding Communications, that I'm sure you're thursty for. From Tech Talk, to unseen Media, to a MainStage Talent show event that's coming up real soon, there's something in our division, and you won't want to miss a single thing. So without further do, crack open your favorite cold beverage of choice, go hit the sprinklers or the water hose, , and let's get the show on the road.

Tech Talk
Previously on May's episode of Tech Talk, Steven Crouch did a job well done on demonstrating the Zoom H1 Essential Talking Digital Audio Recorder, an accessible recorder that's sold by Zoom, and A.T. Guys. But Steven wasn't alone. Shaun gave his app review of the month, giving a little preview of Spectrum Access. The live event had a good turnout, and questions were answered. A Tech Talk planning Committee meeting took place on June 9, and let me tell you and I won't say much here, our next few live events will be devoted to tutorials on an application we use to conduct meetings and events. So there's your little hint, you have to attend our tech talk live events to find out what that app is, it's going to be a treat, that much I can tell you. Unseen Media
Previously on  May's Episode of Unseen Media, Steven Crouch Covered part two of his series on Audio Described Media. He covered the research and resources on finding audio described media. From Spectrum Access, to the Audio Description Project, from advocating at the theaters, to ViddyScribe, Steven Covered it all, and man was it a treat. During our MIABS business meeting that took place on June 6, we voted to transition the accessible flea market in to the MIABS Market. This market will be a place where you can donate services or products to help raise funds for the division so we can continue to take our big ideas and turn them into reality. The MIABS Main Stage
  On June 27TH at 6:30PM, we will be hosting the MIABS Main Stage virtual talent showcase. This is the time to come and show us what you got. If you are planning on singing, please make sure to have your backing track and ensure that zoom's audio settings are set to audio for musicians. This will turn off the noise cancelation so we will be able to clearly hear you and the track.
  The event is free for those who wish to watch. If you wish to perform, the fee is $5. We guarantee this will be an evening of fun. Performers will be competing for prizes. The Registration form is still active, deadline to submit your info and payment is June 24 at 11:59 PM.
