> Thank you for a brief, but productive call last night. Please keep an ear out for advocacy and education ocportunities for our chapter to engage in, either in conjuction with a local chapter or as a state-wide initiative. Some questions I'd like us to consider are:
>
> *What accessibility barriers are we facing that we've simply come to accept as normal?
> *Are we doing everything we can with regard to our 2023-2024 resolutions?
> *Are we reaching all corners (fingers?) of the state? If not, where should we be putting our energy?
> *Are we putting our best foot forward with regard to comunity education and outreach, be it with BSBP, MDELIO, Kellogg Eye Center, Beaumont, and schools?
> *And speaking of schools, what do we need to be doing to level set and build relationships with our educators and families?
>
> Please give these issues some thought and come prepared to discuss at our next chapter meeting on May 7th at 8pm. In the meantime, I look forward to seeing everyone for our monthly philosophy discussion taking place April 16th, also at 8pm.
