Greetings all.

Let me take a moment to update you on Youth happenings.

First, and proably most importantly, we are an approved chartiy through the Michigan State Police. This means that we are now able to do background checks for free. So now, it is an offical requirment that in order to be a mentor for NO LIMITS youth outreach you MUST have a background check on file. THere is an attached form you must fill out and email back to me . It gives me premission to preform the check. PLEASE, if you are planning on mentoring in anyway next week at State Convention fill out this form and get it to me ASAP. If you do not have one on file you will be unable to work with youth. THank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Secondly, if you are planning on mentoring for the Limo Hunt please let me know. I am trying to see where we are in numbers. Plus, i need to find a time to have a breif mentor conference call before the event.
Thirdly, we just ordered sweatshirts today. We have two basic designs. THe old school. and the new school. The old school are the ones we had made last year. These sweatshirts are yellow with blue, I believe, writting. They saw NFBMI NO LIMITS YOUTH OUTREACH. They have an outline of Michigan with a whozit in the middle of the lower pennisulia. On the back they have Changin ' what it means to be blind in Michigan and a picture of the braille coin. THen, we have an old school with a new school twist. It is the same design but it is black with neon green writting, thanks Zechiariah. The new school are tie died hoodies. We have two colors green and orange both have white writting. THe front says NFB with a huge whozit. The back says NO LIMITS. The old school are $30 and the new school are $35. If you are interested in either please email me and let me know. I've ordered a limited number to see how it goes. So, if i need to
order more quick i can do so.
Fourth, i am looking for clues for the limo hunt. If there is a landmark you find to be interesting in the Detroit dearbon area please send it to me. I have some cool ideas but looking for more.
I think that's it. oh no wait. I am looking for a male mentor to stay with two boys. Among other benifits, your room rate would be reduced. Please let me know if your interested.
