My name is Quinn
I am currently a student at Minneapolis community and tech college. I am taking a class in logic and have some questions
I know how to write Bralla and own a Purkins braille writer. I ordered the logic class textbook in braille in mid November And still not received it.
My questions:
1. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can learn How to do Truth tables?
2. Does anyone have any ideas about how I could adapt tests for logic class? I do not know much Nameth but I am working on learning. Right now when I take a test I have someone who reads the logical problem to me and then I rewrite what they said. As we progress further in the class (tomorrow will be the start of the third week of the semester), The problems on tests will get longer and some of them will even be truth tables that we may have to complete. If anyone reads this too has taken a logic class you will know what I mean when I say the logical expressions will get much longer. This means that the amount of time it will take me to rewrite just one problem I a test will not be very productive. Especially when a test has 20 or more problems.
3. Does anybody know what the symbols used in logic would be in braille?
Here are the symbols:
(Negation)
( Conjunction)
(Conditional)
(bi conditional)
( Disjunction)
(Universally Quantified Statement)
(Existentially Quantified Statement)
These are the names of the signs:
Arrow
Ampersand
Double-sided arrow
Wedge
Dash
Universal quantifier
Existential quantifier
Any help that I can get would be greatly appreciated Thanks again
