others interested in the education of children who are blind or visually
impaired

Date: October 27, 2009

The Blind Skills Specialist at the Heart of Missouri RPDC will be
hosting a workshop titled Art, Music, and Physical Education Adaptations
for Students with Visual Impairments on December 11, 2009, from 8:30
a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Heart of Missouri RPDC, #7 London Hall,
University of Missouri-Columbia Campus.  The cost of the training is $65
which includes snacks, lunch, and parking.

This workshop will present adaptations and curricular considerations for
blind and visually impaired students in art, music, and physical
education classes.  Alternate teaching strategies will also be covered.
This workshop is open to regular classroom teachers, teachers of the
blind and visually impaired, paraprofessionals, and directors of special
education.
