Missouri School for the Blind (MSB) is pleased to continue to offer
short-term courses for blind/visually impaired students who are
attending Missouri's public schools.

KEYS (Knowledge to Empower Your Success) are individually designed
short-courses, created to address the vision-specific needs of students.
Student needs are identified through the IEP process.  MSB's
short-courses are designed to provide intensive instruction to help
students acquire the skills they need to be more independent and
successful in their local schools and communities.

This program has been developed to serve students ages five to
twenty-one.  Needs are identified by local IEP teams and referred to MSB
for these services.  If eligible, students may receive three to eighteen
weeks of specialized instruction in one or more of the following areas:

Computer and Assistive Technology
Orientation and Mobility (O&M)
Braille Skills
Visual Efficiency Skills
Activities of Daily Living Skills
Transition Training Skills
