[Missouri-parents-network] FYI: BTF openings

 The Task Force on Blind Student Academic and Vocational Performance is 
currently  accepting applications at this time for a parent or visually impaired  
individual, a teacher, and an employer of the blind in Missouri.

The Blind Task Force is a panel made up of administrators, teachers, parents, 
consumer groups, employers, and the DESE Assistant Commissioner.   The purpose 
of the panel is to advise DESE (Missouri Department of Education) on issues 
involving the  education of blind/visually impaired children. Meetings are 4 
times per  year (currently on a Tuesday in Feb, May, Sept, and Nov.) in 
Columbia, at the  Missouri School Board Association Building.
