<p>The Blind Skills
Specialist at the Heart of Missouri RPDC will be hosting a workshop
titled Assistive Technology Needs and Assessments for Students with
Visual Impairments on January 29, 2010, from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the
Heart of Missouri RPDC, #7 London Hall, University of Missouri Columbia
Campus. The cost of the training is $65 which includes snacks, lunch,
and parking.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0pt;">The workshop will
offer an overview of current assistive technology options available for
students who are blind/visually impaired.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0pt;">Developing
and administering assistive technology assessments to determine student
needs will also be discussed. Product demonstrations will be
included. Continental breakfast, lunch, and parking hang tags will be
provided.</p>
